Dear students and families,
With the aim of looking after the health and welfare of our Music School/studio we would like the following to apply in all lessons at Janet’s Music school until further notice.
• When students arrive at the teacher’s studio and Rockdale Public school, we kindly ask you to wash your hands at our bathroom or kitchenette using the soap provided,
and use the hand sanitiser as provided in Rockdale Public School.
Parents - we ask that you assist young children and their siblings visiting the studio to also wash or sanitise their hands.
• If you or your children have a runny nose, sore throat, headache, coughing, shortness of breath, tiredness or temperature please do not come to lessons and seek medical help if you feel it is necessary.
• Where possible, lessons in This Situation will be provided by Messenger or Facetime. Please let us know as early as you can if you are unwell so that we can make these arrangements. We want to keep the same routine as much as possible so that we do not alarm the students and so that they maintain regular lessons.
• If you do attend lessons with any of the symptoms above, Please do Not be offended if we ask you to go home. I am sure that you will understand that we hold the utmost care for the health and safety of our teachers, students and their families.
Finally please do Not panic or do Not stay home Unless you are Unwell. To date, the health advice is to Continue as Normal with the best defence for COVID-19 being good hand hygiene, coughing and sneezing etiquette, and to isolate when unwell.
